Beta Alpha Psi Honor Society - Nu Kappa Chapter
Founded in 2015, the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½’s Nu Kappa Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) is the International Honor Organization for Financial Information Students and Professionals. It recognizes students' outstanding academic achievements in the field of accounting, finance, and business analytics. There are over 300 chapters on college and university campuses worldwide with over 300,000 members initiated since BAP’s formation in 1919.
Requirements for Candidacy
Memberships Requirements:
- ACC, FIN, or BA major
- Completion of at least one 300-level major course
- 3.2 cumulative and major GPA
- Satisfactory attendance record at professional and community service activities (75% of each)
New candidate applications, Degree Works Report, and $78 one-time Candidate fee are accepted either in the Spring or Fall semesters (typically right prior to Spring/Fall break) with induction occurring during the Annual Accounting Department Celebration in May each year.
