When American painter Ora Lerman died in 1998, she stipulated that her country home and studio in Laceyville, Pennsylvania, should become a retreat for artists. For the past twenty years, Soaring Gardens Artists' Retreat has offered visual artists, writers, composers, and instrumentalists a quiet country setting to focus on their creative endeavors. This juried exhibition celebrates the anniversary of this "second decade."
